Y5 – Windrush – Celebration Day

As part of our History Unit ‘Rebuilding Britain: Women and the Windrush,’ Year 5 will be having a celebration day.
We have selected this date due to its proximity to Windrush Day, which is remembered on 22nd June each year.
As part of this day, we kindly ask that pupils come in something red, green, blue or yellow to match the colours associated with the occasion.
The children will also be trying food on this day; we are aware of all existing allergies and dietary requirements, and these will be catered for.
Please do not hesitate to update the office of any recent changes by Friday 21st June so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
