Year 4 – ‘Metropolis’ Celebration Day

This term in Year 4 Geography, our topic is Metropolis. We have been using atlases and Digi maps to find capital cities from across the world.
The children have enjoyed exploring London, Bern and Washington DC using tour videos, creating postcards and information packs.

We will be having a celebration Day on Friday 24th October, where we will be creating our own cities and becoming tour guides for a chosen capital city, taking part in activities and tours, using the knowledge we have gained over the previous 6 weeks.

It would be great if your child could dress up as explorers, wearing neutral/ green coloured clothes.
