Year 4 – Self-Discipline Reward Afternoon
As this term draws to a close, the children have continued to impress us with their hard work, and as a result, the children have filled a jar in both 4R and 4C.
Both classes have filled their self-discipline jars, and we are so proud of them!
To reward the children for their efforts, the children will be watching Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (which is a PG).
This film is linked to the children’s Year 4 English topic this term and the children have been using this as a stimulus for descriptive writing and writing a biography for Albus Dumbledore.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed this as their class read too.
The children will be able to bring in a snack with them to watch the film, this can be sweets, popcorn or chocolate, if you would like.
However, as always please make sure there are no nuts in these snacks as they will not be able to eat them in school.
The snacks should be for your child only and are not to be shared with other children in the class.
The film will be in the afternoon of Thursday 23rd October, therefore, if you do not want your child to watch the film, please email the office by 9am on Thursday 23rd October.
