Y5 – ‘Seven Natural Wonders’ Celebration Day

Based on our current topic ‘Seven Natural Wonders’ Year 5 will have their first celebration day.
Throughout the day, the children will have the opportunity to complete a variety of activities including: completing research about Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
They will use their knowledge to design and create proposals for potential developments and travel itineraries to explore Zimbabwe further.
It would be lovely if your child came to school dressed up for the day.
This could be clothing which may be worn by a tourist travelling Zimbabwe or even just colours inspired by one of the Seven Wonders they have already explored
including: the aurora borealis (greens, blues, reds, pinks and purples) Grand Canyon (browns, yellows and orange) or Rio de Janeiro (bright colours)
